OLR Families were invited to come each lunch with the students on November 14th. The school provided pasta, and parents contributed salad and desserts. The K4/5 and First Grade students provided the entertainment with their Thanksgiving holiday themed show.

On All Saints’ Day, the church & school came together for Sunrise With the Saints. This celebration included Mass, Adoration with many 1st class relics, a Saints’ procession, Litany of Saints, Saints Trivia, and refreshments in the Parish Center.
The OLR Church & School Annual Fall Festival took place on October 13th with games, bounce houses, a hayride, live music, cake contest, chili cook-off, and everyone’s favorite—the dunk tank!
After attending UNC School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC, Joseph Scott, OLR Class of 2011, decided to join the U.S. Marine Corps. He has been at Parris Island, SC, Camp Lejeune, NC, and is currently training in St. Louis, MO.
The Shannon Forest Boys’ Cross Country team, led by Sophomore Mark Walsh, OLR Class of 2016, competed at the SCISA 2A State Championship Meet on October 28th and finished 8th overall out of a total of 15 teams!
