Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic School competes in the Carolina Middle School Conference. The goal of our program is to develop:
- Teamwork
- Confidence
- Responsibility
- Character
- Sportsmanship
All of this is done in an environment of Christian charity. Winning is a goal of the program but it is not the number one goal. OLR Middle School students can compete in the
following sports:
- Co-ed Cross Country
- Girls Volleyball
- Boys and Girls Basketball
- Co-ed Golf
- Boys & Girls Soccer
- Boys Baseball
- Girls Softball
Children who are members of a team can expect to play, however are not guaranteed playing time. The head coach of each team makes decisions during practice and contests that he/she deems necessary. At times these decisions may not be popular with the athletes or their parents but this is his/her decision. OLR offers organized team sports for the middle school and each student who participates must maintain a "C" average in each subject to be eligible to play.
